Kehinde K. Eleja (Head of Chambers/Partner)
Education: He attended Government Secondary School Malete via Ilorin, Kwara State for his secondary education from 1981-1986 where he sat his West African School Examination and came out successfully in 1986.
He proceeded to the Institute of Basic and Applied Sciences of the Kwara State Polytechnic, Ilorin for his Interim Joint Matriculation Board (IJMB) Examination i.e. A’ Levels and completed same successfully in 1988.
He bagged LL.B (Hons) Second Class (Lower Division) from the Usman Danfodio University in Sokoto in 1992 and BL with Second Class (Lower Division) from the Nigerian Law School, Lagos in 1993.
Background: Mr. Eleja was admitted to the Nigerian Bar as a Solicitor and Advocate of the Supreme Court of Nigeria in 1993 having satisfied the requirements to be so admitted.
Mr Eleja was a pupil state counsel at the Benue State Ministry of Justice ,Otukpo from 1993-1994 during his National Youth Service scheme .He was exposed to acts of criminal prosecution, rendering legal advice on behalf of the Director of Public Prosecution of the State and generally representing the State Government and its agencies in litigations in court.
He joined the law firm of Yusuf Ali & Co. in October, 1994 as a junior counsel and had risen to become the Head of Chambers. He is currently a partner in the firm.
Mr Eleja has in the course of his career represented corporate and individual clients in all the courts of record in Nigeria, Commissions of Inquiry, Arbitration Panels, Election Tribunals, among others. Though he is tested in all aspects of legal practice, he has bias for Administrative Law, Election Petitions, Commercial Law, Corporate Practice, Criminal Prosecution, Arbitration and Real and Property Law.
He is a registered capital market consultant in the capacity of a solicitor with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
Membership: He is a member of Nigerian Bar Association and International Bar Association.

Mr Eleja was the chairman of the Nigerian Bar Association, Ilorin branch from November 2005 to October, 2007. He was also a member of the Kwara State Criminal Justice Committee from 2005-2007. He has been a member of the National Executive Committee of the Nigerian Bar Association since 2005. He was the Editor-in-chief of the Ilorin Bar Journal, a publication of the Nigerian Bar Association, Ilorin Branch from 2004-2007.
He has received various awards from Law students of Tertiary institutions in Kwara state in recognition of his modest contribution to law as an Advocate. In December, 2007 he received a meritorious service Award from the Nigerian Bar Association Ilorin Branch.
